In Friday's league contest, the host Fort Bend Travis Tigers basketball team scored a good 91-80 triumph over the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes.

The Tigers (28-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 23-8 record. In their last contest, Ridge Point topped Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX), 55-36, in a league contest.
