With the victory, Monroe Central advances its record to 18-2 on the year. The Seminoles host Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH) to meet the Purple Riders in a Ohio Valley AAA battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Purple Riders enter the battle with a record of 10-9. Martins Ferry won 74-35 in their recent non-league battle against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH)
The Pilots now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Frye for a Twin State battle on Tuesday, February 11. River will meet a Cadets squad coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 7-12.
