Tennessee High School Basketball - University School triumphant over Unaka
February 7, 2025: Johnson City, TN 37614 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the University School Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) and the visiting Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN), observed University School's basketball team overwhelm Unaka by a score of 81-56.
The Buccaneers (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Black Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-18 record. In their last challenge, Chuckey-Doak was routed by South Greene (Greeneville, TN), 77-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Rangers battle the Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Unaka will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-24 record after their 72-56 league loss to Johnson County (Mountain City, TN).
