North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill overwhelmed by Lake Norman

February 7, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28117

In Friday's league test, the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), by a score of 93-27.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro test, on Tuesday, February 11. Lake Norman will attempt to improve on its 19-1 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 7-15 record after their 68-47 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC).

The Chargers (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls come into the 4A Greater Metro test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Hickory Ridge was routed by Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 58-46, in a non-league test.
