In Friday's non-league contest, the host East Central Trojans basketball team scored a good 51-38 win over the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs.

The Trojans (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Bull Dogs come into the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Columbus North defeated Columbus East (Columbus, IN), 70-38, in a non-league contest.
