North Carolina High School Basketball - Kings Mountain sneaks past North Gaston

February 7, 2025: Dallas, NC 28034

The Kings Mountain Mountaineers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host North Gaston Wildcats to 52 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Friday.

The Mountaineers now possess a 2-20 record. They play next when they travel to Forestview for a 3A Big South game on Tuesday, February 11. Kings Mountain will play a Jaguars team coming off a 66-52 league loss to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, North Gaston falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to play the Greenwave in a 3A Big South game on Tuesday, February 11. The Greenwave go into the game with a record of 9-11. Ashbrook won 66-52 in their recent league game against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)
