Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), 58-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Oakland Mills upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to clash with the Wildecats in a Howard County bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Wildecats go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Wilde Lake won 64-49 in their recent league bout against Hammond (Columbia, MD)

Next up, the Gladiators clash with the Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Glenelg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 64-43 league loss to Reservoir (Fulton, MD).
