California High School Basketball - Monterey Trail knocked off by Vista del Lago

February 8, 2024: Folsom, CA 95630

The Vista del Lago Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Campo for a Capital Athletic League contest on Friday, February 9. Vista del Lago will meet a Cougars team coming off a 26-23 non-league loss to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-20.

The Mustangs (15-10) will now prepare for their contest against Burbank (Sacramento, CA). The Titans enter the Metropolitan Conference contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, Burbank was outscored by River City (West Sacramento, CA), 73-24, in a league contest.
