New Jersey High School Basketball - Arts overwhelms Montclair
February 8, 2025: Newark, NJ 07102 The Arts Jaguars basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Montclair Mounties to 42 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jaguars now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they host East Orange Campus for a Super Essex - American game on Tuesday, February 11. Arts will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 86-68 non-league loss to Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, Montclair falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Mounties travel to Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to confront the Millers in a Super Essex - Colonial game on Thursday, February 13. The Millers go into the game with a record of 12-8. Millburn won 77-52 in their recent league game against North Star Academy (Newark, NJ)
