Virginia High School Basketball - Peninsula Catholic victorious over Princess Anne

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Peninsula Catholic Knights basketball team scored a good 69-61 triumph over the Princess Anne Cavaliers.

The Knights (20-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins go into the VISAA Division I contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Cape Henry Collegiate topped Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA), 67-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Princess Anne will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 66-48 league loss to Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA).
