Illinois High School Basketball - East Peoria routs Illinois Valley Central
February 8, 2025: Chillicothe, IL 61523 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting East Peoria Raiders basketball team scored a big 69-42 triumph over the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts.
The Raiders (14-16) will now prepare for their battle against Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Dragons enter the Mid-Illini battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Pekin walloped Limestone (Bartonville, IL), 39-32, in a league battle.
The Grey Ghosts now own a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. Illinois Valley Central will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 58-18 league win over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 26-3.
