Colorado High School Basketball - South Park holds off Trinidad

February 8, 2025: Fairplay, CO 80440

The South Park Burros basketball team scored 30 points and limited the visiting Trinidad Miners to 28 in the Burros league triumph on Saturday.

The Burros now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Del Norte for a 3A/2A Southern Peaks game on Saturday, February 15. South Park will confront a Tigers team coming off a 44-4 non-league win over Walsenburg (Walsenburg, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Trinidad falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Swallows Charter Academy (Pueblo West, CO) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 7-9. Swallows Charter Academy lost 53-35 in their recent league game against Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO)
