In Saturday's league contest, the host Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the Magnolia Blue Eagles.

The Crusaders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV). The Red Devils go into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Ravenswood nipped Wahama (Mason, WV), 43-21, in a non-league contest.
