The Taft Raiders baseball squad (San Antonio, TX), was overwhelmed 11-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Almeta Crawford Chargers (Rosharon, TX)

With the triumph, Almeta Crawford moves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to El Campo (El Campo, TX) to confront the Ricebirds in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 6. The Ricebirds come into the contest with a record of 2-1.

The Raiders now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holmes for a 6A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, March 4. Taft will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 1-8.
