In Saturday's non-league game, the host Huntington Red Devils baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Arp Tigers.

The Red Devils (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Newton, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region III District 21 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Newton was overwhelmed by East Chambers (Winnie, TX), 10-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Tigers face the Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Arp will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 6-3 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Community (Nevada, TX).
