The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) and the visiting New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS), saw Pontotoc's baseball team gain a win over New Albany by a tally of 10-1.

The Warriors (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region 1 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Clarksdale was overwhelmed by Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS), 13-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 11. New Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
