The University Trojans (Irvine, CA) lacrosse routed the host Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA), 8-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Compton for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. University will face a Tarbabes squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA). The Tarbabes record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Santa Monica falls to 1-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to El Dorado (Placentia, CA) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1.
