The Sachse Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Naaman Forest Rangers to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Sachse moves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Wylie East (Wylie, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 9 game on Saturday, March 11. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 11-7. Wylie East won 4-0 in their recent league game against Garland (Garland, TX)

In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Garland Owls (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 game, on Thursday, March 16. Naaman Forest will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Owls come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 9-7 league loss to Rowlett (Rowlett, TX).
