The North Mecklenburg Vikings baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions to 4 in the Vikings non-league win on Monday.

The Vikings now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hough for a Queen City 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 11. North Mecklenburg will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-1.
