Texas High School Soccer - Van knocks off Mineola
March 11, 2025: Van, TX 75790 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Van Vandals (Van, TX) and the visiting Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX), saw Van's soccer squad prevail over Mineola by a count of 5-1.
The Vandals (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region 2 District 14 battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Lindale by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) in a 4A Region 2 District 14 battle, on Friday, March 14. Mineola will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 3-14 record after their 6-2 league loss to Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX).
