Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 4-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Marvin Ridge moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mavericks host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to battle the Huskies in a non-league match on Thursday, March 13. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 3-1. Hough won 19-1 in their recent league match against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC)
