The Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) softball nipped the host French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodlawn-B.R. for a 5A District 4 outing on Tuesday, March 18.
