In Thursday's league game, the visiting South Stokes Sauras baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Alleghany Trojans.

The Sauras (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the Northwest 1A game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Mount Airy overcame East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 13-3, in a league game.

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their game against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record.
