In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Boswell Pioneers softball team scored a tight 10-3 win over the John Paul II Cardinals.

The Pioneers (6-4) will now prepare for their match against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region I District 3 match with a 5-12 record. In their last match, North Crowley was routed by Weatherford (Weatherford, TX), 7-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Dallas HSAA Red Blue Angels (Plano, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 22. John Paul II will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record.
