The Lake Travis Cavaliers softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Westlake Chaparrals to 3 in the Cavaliers league win on Friday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fredericksburg for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. Lake Travis will confront a Billies team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Billies record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Westlake moves to 10-6 on the season. The Chaparrals host Del Valle (Del Valle, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Monday, March 17. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 7-4. Del Valle lost 15-9 in their recent league battle against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX)
