The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), saw Fuquay - Varina's lacrosse team nudge Pinecrest by a margin of 4-3.

The Bengals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Orange edged Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 10-2, in a league battle.
