In Wednesday's league outing, the host Highland Tech Rams softball squad scored a tight 6-3 win over the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets.

The Rams now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont Community Charter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. Highland Tech will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-2.
