California High School Lacrosse - Santa Margarita drops to San Marcos
March 15, 2025: San Marcos, CA 92069 San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), 16-9 in a non-league game.
With the victory, San Marcos advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Knights host Mead (Longmont, CO) to play the Mavericks in a non-league game on Monday, March 17. The Mavericks come into the game with a record of 1-0. Mead won 19-4 in their recent non-league game against Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO)
The Eagles now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newport Harbor for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 18. Santa Margarita will play a Sailors team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Valencia (Valencia, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 2-5.
