The Frederick Douglass Broncos lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting Tates Creek Commodores to 3 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Broncos now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Great Crossing for a KLA North - 2 challenge on Monday, March 17. Frederick Douglass will clash with a squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Tates Creek falls to 0-3 on the year. The Commodores travel to Bryan Station (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Defenders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Defenders go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Bryan Station won 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY)
