Colorado Wolves (Colorado City, TX) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Colorado upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Wolves host Christoval (Christoval, TX) to play the Cougars in a 2A Region IV District 28 game on Saturday, March 15. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 5-1. Christoval won 13-2 in their recent league game against Miles (Miles, TX)

The Steers now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Levelland for a 4A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, March 18. Big Spring will play a Lobos squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 19-2.
