March 17, 2025: Palmyra, VA 22963 Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Fluvanna County moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Flying Flucos travel to Madison County (Madison, VA) to meet the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Madison County lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Orange County (Orange, VA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Monticello for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Liberty Christian will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-3 non-league Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-0.
