The Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) flag football tipped the visiting The Villages Charter Buffalo (The Villages, FL), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Hurricanes now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lecanto for a 2A D8 outing on Thursday, March 20. Citrus will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 39-0 non-league win over Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.

With the defeat, The Villages Charter drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Buffalo travel to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league outing on Monday, March 31.
