Maryland High School Lacrosse - St. Mary's Ryken sneaks past DeMatha
March 18, 2025: Hyattsville, MD 20781 Fans at Tuesday's league test between the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) and the host DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD), witnessed St. Mary's Ryken's lacrosse squad hold off DeMatha by a count of 7-6.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs enter the Washington Catholic test with a 1-4 record.
Next, the Stags battle the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 20. DeMatha will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Knights enter the test with a 5-1 record after their 19-3 non-league win over Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA).
