The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) and the visiting Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX), observed Mercedes's softball team prevail over Pace by a tally of 12-2.

The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Donna (Donna, TX). The Redskins go into the 5A Region IV District 32 bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Donna was routed by Lopez (Brownsville, TX), 17-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Weslaco East Wildcats (Weslaco, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 bout, on Friday, March 21. Pace will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record.
