In Wednesday's non-league bout, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), by a tally of 12-3.

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A bout, on Friday, March 21. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC).

The Stallions (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors enter the non-league bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Mountain Island Charter was overwhelmed by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 6-3, in a league bout.
