The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) and the host Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX), observed Montwood's softball team prevail over Franklin by a tally of 25-7.

The Rams (19-6) will now prepare for their bout against Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds go into the 6A Region I District 1 bout with a 9-15 record. In their last bout, Coronado was routed by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 19-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 bout, on Friday, March 21. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Troopers go into the bout with a 21-2 record after their 5-4 league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX).
