The Glen Rose Beavers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Mills University Studies Comets to 6 in the Beavers non-league win on Thursday.

The Beavers now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Two Rivers for a 3A Region 5 test on Friday, March 21. Glen Rose will play a Gators team coming off a 25-8 non-league win over Western Yell County (Havana, AR). The Gators record now stands at 5-0.

With the defeat, Mills University Studies drops to 1-4 on the year. The Comets host Forrest City (Forrest City, AR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 1-3.
