The Mount Airy Granite Bears crushed the host South Stokes Sauras baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Granite Bears now possess a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starmount for a Northwest 1A bout on Tuesday, March 26. Mount Airy will face a Rams team coming off a 7-2 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-4.
