The Mountain Island Charter Raptors triumphed over the visiting Christ the King Crusaders softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Raptors meet the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.

The Crusaders (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record.
