The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) and the host Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), saw Covenant Day's soccer squad knock off Asheville by a count of 2-0.

The Lions now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee for a non-league test on Saturday, March 23. Covenant Day will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Walhalla (Walhalla, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
