March 22, 2025: Duncan, SC 29334 Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) and the host James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC), witnessed Gilbert's lacrosse squad overcome James F. Byrnes by a count of 12-5.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Grovetown was overwhelmed by Evans (Evans, GA), 9-6, in a non-league test.
Next, the Rebels battle the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) in a test, on Tuesday, March 25. James F. Byrnes will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 0-2 record after their 13-1 league loss to Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).
