Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bel Air for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Ysleta will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 20-8 league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Parkland falls to 13-13 on the campaign. The Matadors host Del Valle (El Paso, TX) to face the Conquistadores in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Conquistadores enter the challenge with a record of 17-2. Del Valle won 24-0 in their recent league challenge against Horizon (El Paso, TX)
