North Carolina High School Soccer - South Caldwell nudges Garinger
March 24, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28205 The South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) soccer nipped the host Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander Central for a Northwestern 3A/4A challenge on Thursday, March 27. South Caldwell will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Garinger moves to 4-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC) to encounter the Ravens in a Southwestern 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Ravens go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Rocky River lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Independence (Charlotte, NC)
