The Lindsay Knights softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Era Hornets to 5 in the Knights league win on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muenster for a 2A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, March 28. Lindsay will confront a Hornets team coming off a 13-3 league win over Chico (Chico, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Era moves to 3-12 on the season. The Hornets host Alvord (Alvord, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, March 28. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-7. Alvord lost 12-6 in their recent league battle against Nocona (Nocona, TX)
