Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 12-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Northwest Guilford upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Davie (Mocksville, NC) to play the War Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. The War Eagles enter the game with a record of 9-2. Davie lost 12-2 in their recent league game against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)

The Cowboys now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Glenn for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Southwest Guilford will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-5.
