The Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) lacrosse nudged the visiting Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO), 12-11 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roaring Fork for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 5.

With the loss, Horizon falls to 2-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Golden (Golden, CO) to face the Demons in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8. The Demons go into the outing with a record of 3-1.
