In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Westlake Rams softball team scored a nice 18-1 win over the Singer Hornets.

The Rams (13-11) will now prepare for their match against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights come into the 3A District 3 match with a 11-10 record. In their last match, South Beauregard notched a victory over Logansport (Logansport, LA), 23-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) in a C District 4 match, on Thursday, March 27. Singer will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 4-6 record after their 19-0 league win over Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA).
