The Weddington Warriors triumphed over the host Myers Park Mustangs lacrosse team by a tally of 16-7 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Warriors play the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 28. Weddington will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 9-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC).

The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Southwestern/So Meck game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Butler was overwhelmed by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 9-5, in a non-league game.
