First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, First Colonial advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Redskins now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Camden County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Wednesday, April 2.
