In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Frederick Douglass Broncos lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-3 triumph over the North Oldham Mustangs.

The Broncos (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. North Oldham will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY).
